Enjoy the beauty of the French Polynesian Islands in Flight Simulator X. Tahiti X includes almost the complete archipelago covering 14 islands and 9 airports with a detailed mesh and many animations.
Of course this product should have been named French Polynesia X, but Tahiti X just sounds a lot better. But almost the complete archipelago is included covering a massive two and a half million kilometers. Distances between the islands are massive so you need an aircraft that has a reasonable cruise speed and twins are highly recommended. Of course a twin that can land on water is ideal. For example the Twin Otter we done (it even comes with a correct livery) or the default Grumman Goose. An ideal destination for a dark evening! Map (click to enlarge):

Conclusion by Gamershall.de: "Gamershall reviewed Tahiti X and recommends the product. They even gave it an award and the maximum 10 points! " Click here to read the complete review (German) Conclusion by Mutleyshangar.com: "This one gets a big thumbs up from me. A great combination of scenery and adventure. An included mission or flight plan would have been nice but there's plenty of choices of places to visit. Tahiti X is visually stunning and it has certainly lifted me out of the doldrums. A real paradise for GA and bush flyers. I have by no means finished exploring. I am going to be here some while yet, where's my grass skirt!!" Click here to read the complete review Conclusion by FlightSim.com: "While I believe that this scenery places too much value on eye candy and less on realism or texture quality, I can't deny the attractiveness of the package. Tahiti, or more properly the whole French Polynesian archipelago, has an air of mystique which is difficult to capture in a review or images. This project was conceived on a vast scale by Aerosoft, and any island hopper or bush flyer would do well to consider this package, as I personally believe that Tahiti X offers unrivaled opportunity for discovery." Needless to say, it was a pleasure to experience that sensation in the course of this review. Tahiti X really does drive home the unique characteristics of this tropical destination that makes it so immensely popular. In a nutshell, it does it’s namesake proud. So who would I recommend this package to? Those with Tahiti on their mind? Fledgling bush pilots? Island hoppers? Yes, yes, and yes. Short of by-the-checklist-heavy metal simmers that are looking for a variety of fields contained in one installer, this package has a lot of appealing elements that break up the routine - interesting landscapes and sceneries, charming atmosphere, and unique airfields that can provide a challenge. Bring on the virtual Mai Tai’s. I’m buying." Click here to read the complete review Conclusion by FlightSimulatorXWorld.com: "Do I like this add-on? Positively!!! It adds tremendously to those who want to explore this area. To those who don't know the area, get it and be wowed! The asking price is not to steep and to me it's worth every penny, providing hours of entertainment and challenges. Aerosoft again has given the community a program to enhance your flight simulator experience. You get the feeling that you are really in the South Pacific and to me, that's the highest complement I can give a scenery add-on. Highly recommended! Just be sure to take your sea plane with you (the new Catalina would work great!)" Click here to read the complete review Conclusion by PC Pilot Magazine | Jan-Feb 2009: "I was impressed with the scenery in Tahiti X, not only for the huge expanse it covered, but because it manages to capture the essence of the Pacific islands. Naturally no computer-generated scenery can compare with the real thing, but flying low in a suitably slow moving aircraft, or cruising around the hundreds of coves in a boat is certainly a real pleasure. The blue sky, turquoise seas and white sands are simply magical. Final score: 85% " PC Pilot Magazine Conclusion by Aircraft Illustrated Magazine | February 2009: "What is without doubt is that the scenery in FSX is quite stunning in many way. Tahiti X is sure to be the subject of many pleasant hours of virtual exploration. Final score: 4 out of 5 stars " Aircraft Illustrated Magazine
