The route includes the Class 170 Turbostar DMU and features highly-detailed models of both terminus stations and all stations along the line, complete with atmospheric sound effects. The Edinburgh Glasgow Expansion Pack has been developed by Thomson Interactive with a focus on the ‘driver’s eye’ view, all station and line-side features being fully detailed and more distant landscape features represented with simpler detail to improve game rendering performance while driving.

Scenarios included with this product:

• Capital Test Train - After major signalling upgrades you are rostered to test some unusual movements in the Edinburgh area. You are required to drive a Class 37 light engine test train to confirm that all signal aspects and indicators are showing correctly after a night of signalling work has taken place
• Sunday Line Closures - As maintenance at Bathgate Junction takes place, there are also line closures at Polmont and between Edinburgh Waverley and Haymarket for tunnel inspections. To keep the passengers moving as well as you can, you are rostered to take a 3-car Class 170/4 on a return replacement shuttle service from Haymarket to Linlithgow a passenger stop in each direction at Edinburgh Park
• Final Service of your Shift - Drive an evening express service from Glasgow Queen Street to Edinburgh Waverley, and remember to stop at the correct platform positions to ensure all coaches are within the platform limits. Finally, stable your train (a 6 car Class 170/4 formation) at Haymarket Depot
• Early Roster at Eastfield - You are rostered to take your 3 car Class 170/4 unit from Eastfield Depot to Glasgow Queen Street forming the 06:32 stopping service to Edinburgh Waverley, via Bishopbriggs, Lenzie, Croy, Falkirk High, Polmont, Linlithgow, Edinburgh Park and Haymarket
• E-G Westbound Express - You will drive the express service from Edinburgh Waverley to Glasgow Queen Street, leaving at 15:30 from Edinburgh Waverley Platform 7. The timetabled passenger stops are Haymarket, Falkirk High, and Croy
• E-G Eastbound Express - You are rostered to drive the 10:15 express service from with timetabled passenger stops at Falkirk High, Polmont, Linlithgow and Haymarket. Your train is formed from two 3 car Class 170/4 units and you should get off to a punctual start at 10:15
