Product information "Rio Grande Zephyr - Scenario Pack"
This scenario pack consists of 6 scenarios. All scenarios are created accordingly to prototypical timetables and they bring the traffic on this busy main line to life, as it is today. Due to the limitations of a computer simulation, not every train and train consist will be simulated in this product.
NOTICE: If you encounter red signals, don´t pass them on your own by pressing TAB, you will be notified by the signaler. We also highly recommend disabling the option ‘Scenario end on SPAD’ in the gameplay menu.
Scenario overview: Train 17 Pt.1 You just arrived at Helper, being held at a red signal shortly before your station stop. This part will take you as far as Colton on a sunny day in July.
Train 17 Pt. 2 You will cross the summit in this part and start your descent down to Helper.
Train 17 Pt. 3 This part will take you to Provo Depot, where your shift ends.
Train 18 Pt. 1 Rio Grande's Train 18 departed Ogden at 06:00 AM, left Salt Lake City at 07:AM and arrived in Provo at 07:50 AM. You will have a booked 5-minute stop here, before you continue to Helper. Its January 4, 1974, and a snow storm is forecasted to hit the area in the next hour(s).
Train 18 Pt. 2 The MOW train is on the move and you will follow it, but you will pass it at Gilluly. The weather is getting worse, seems like the storm has arrived. Make your way to Summit, where you might have to stop again...
Climbing Up This evening, you are scheduled to drive a Grain Extra uphill. It is Sunday, so the famous Silver Lady is on her way down from Soldier Summit and you might catch a glance at this famous train.
