The Aerosoft A330 NEO Has Landed!
As of August 30, 2026, the Aerosoft A330 NEO for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is now available in the Aerosoft Shop – priced at €25.20 excl. VAT (€29.99 incl. VAT). After years of development, Aerosoft launches its most ambitious long-haul project to date – developed entirely in-house and packed with impressive systems depth.
The A330neo Family Takes to the Virtual Skies
The new addition recreates the A330-900neo, powered by Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 engines. The real-world aircraft has been in airline service since 2018 with carriers such as TAP Air Portugal, Delta Air Lines, Condor, and ITA Airways, and stands out for its significantly improved fuel efficiency compared to the A330ceo generation.
Technical Highlights
The team placed particular emphasis on authentic flight dynamics: a custom-built fly-by-wire system with Normal and Direct Law, a NEO-specific flare law, and independently operating MCDUs are all part of the package. Flight guidance hasn't been neglected either – the completely newly developed Flight Management System supports both lateral and vertical navigation, along with the associated autopilot modes.
Good news for anyone who plans their flights via SimBrief: flight plans can be conveniently imported through the EFB, including automatic loading of the correct weight and balance values. GSX compatibility and OANS are also on board.
Important for Multiplayer Pilots
Pilots flying on networks like VATSIM, IVAO, or PilotEdge should familiarize themselves with the aircraft's handling beforehand. Some procedures that are usually handled by automated systems currently still need to be flown manually on the A330 NEO.
MSFS 2024 Exclusive
The A330 NEO is released exclusively for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. An A330-800 variant is not currently planned. Good news for A330 CEO owners: an update patch bringing the older version up to the same technical standard as the NEO will follow shortly after launch.

An official interactive flight manual is also available at launch, in both English and German. Navdata can be updated as usual conveniently via Aerosoft One.
