Railjet 2 – Next Level Travel
With the Railjet 2, you can add the latest high-speed train from ÖBB to your Train Simulator Classic – realistic, detailed and state-of-the-art.

The second-generation Railjets are part of Siemens' Viaggio Next Level platform and were designed specifically for international long-distance travel. Since April 2024, they have been running regularly on the Brenner route between Munich and Verona – with new comfort zones, modern interiors and barrier-free access. With up to 532 seats, separate toilets, Wi-Fi, compartments and family zones, these trains set new standards in German-Austrian high-speed transport.

ÖBB initially ordered 21 sets in 2018 – in addition to the Nightjet carriages – with a further 19 trains to follow by 2028. Unlike the first generation of Railjet trains, these sets feature through-low floors, new business class areas and more spacious seating layouts.

The control car is not yet approved for regular service, but is realistically represented in the add-on and can be used as a end car. Several tasks round out this exciting package.

What you can expect:

• Representation of the new Railjet generation as currently being introduced by ÖBB – innovative, comfortable and designed for international transport.
• Seven completely newly developed, highly detailed car models:
  • Apmz high-entry – 1st class car with first and business areas, classic high entry
  • Apmz low-entry – 1st class car with barrier-free access, compartments and 2+1 seating
  • Bbmpvz – 2nd class carriages with low-floor access, wheelchair spaces and wide aisles
  • Bpmz – Standard 2nd class open-plan carriages with 2+2 seating
  • Bpmz (Fa) – Family carriages with six-seat compartments, children's area and pushchair storage
  • BRmpz – Bistro car with seating and standing room as well as snack vending machines
  •  Bfpmz control car – High-entry car with driver's cab (not movable in TSC)

The control car cannot be driven by the player.
