Aerosoft Scenery Roadmap 2025

Today we are happy to officially announce our roadmap for our upcoming MSFS sceneries!

Aerosoft Airport Düsseldorf - Compatibility for MSFS 2020

After many of you have requested it, we can now announce that Dusseldorf will also receive a version for MSFS 2020 with the next update. It will be installable as a separate scenery via Aerosoft One. The update is free for existing buyers; Marketplace customers of the 2024 version will also receive the airport in their 2020 library.

Both versions will continue to receive updates in the future - adapted to the respective simulator.

Aerosoft Mega Airport Frankfurt - Performance optimization

We are currently working on a major update for Frankfurt, which includes optimized 3D models and textures, revised LOD levels and more efficient GPU and CPU usage by the scenery. The goal is to achieve a better balance between performance and level of detail.

In the future, the new Terminal 3 and an updated ground layout will also be implemented.

New Aerosoft Airports: Stuttgart STR & Paris CDG

Many have been waiting for it - now it's official: With Stuttgart and Paris CDG, two of the most-requested airports will receive a detailed implementation for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Once again, the team around scenery veterans Jo Erlend Sund and Lukas Vezyroglou will develop these airports from the ground up for MSFS 2024 in order to make the best possible use of the new platform. Our goal is to also offer backwards compatibility for MSFS 2020 in the future, similar to Düsseldorf.

After Frankfurt/Main, Paris Charles de Gaulle will be our most ambitious airport project to date. As development progresses, we will provide insights into the team's work in the future.
