Just Flight - 146 Professional MSFS

Just Flight are excited to bring you the 146 ‘Whisper Jet’ – featuring the 100, 200 and 300 series of this classic British airliner.

Just Flight's study-level 146 Professional for MSFS includes eight passenger and cargo variants, with 44 liveries, an exceptional Wwise sound package, fully functional FMS, authentic flight controls and Captain and First Officer positions complete with hundreds of functional switches, knobs and controls.

A new custom-coded UNS-1 FMS and detailed passenger cabin and galleys are among the latest features added (April 2024).

MODEL

• Accurately modelled using real-world aircraft plans and comprehensive photography of the real aircraft (G-JEAO, ZE701 and ZE708)
• Physically Based Rendering (PBR) materials produce realistic metallic, plastic and glass surfaces

COCKPIT

• Captain and First Officer positions are modelled with hundreds of functional switches, knobs and controls. Even the pilot and observer seats, cup holders and sun visors are functional!
• A truly 3D cockpit environment right down to accurately modelled seat belts and screw heads - every instrument is constructed fully in 3D with smooth animations
• Cockpit textures feature wear and tear based on reference photos taken in the real aircraft to produce an authentic environment
• Aircraft state system which will automatically save the aircraft state whenever a flight is saved and reload it whenever that flight is loaded
• Aircraft configuration system which allows you to choose between 'Cold & Dark', ‘Turnaround’ or 'Ready for Take-off'
• Many features have been added to help with usability such as the ability to hide the control yokes for a better view of the instruments and pre-set camera views for the overhead panel, centre pedestal and jump seat, hidden clickspot for setting all altimeters to standard and controlling all four N1 and TGT bugs, and automatic ground idle selection
• Developed using the latest MSFS standards, including intuitive and easy-to-use controls for rotary knobs, multi-position switches and levers
• Fully compatible with MSFS VR mode
• EFB tablet with a plethora of features including boarding simulation, failures menu and interactive checklists, as well as SimBrief and Navigraph supportFully interactable and customisable paper charts and checklists

  • Boarding/deboarding states are automatically synced to your stage of flight, e.g. starting at a parking spot will result in an empty aircraft, ready for boarding to commence
  • Integration with GSX – when GSX boarding option is enabled via the EFB tablet, your selected payload will be synced with GSX so the correct number of passengers will be loaded by GSX, and you can monitor progress as usual via the EFB
  • If enabled via the EFB tablet, the cabin crew will automatically open and close the passenger and service doors as required
  • New passenger boarding/deboarding sounds added
• New interactive yoke-mounted checklists and glareshield clipboard paper charts:
  • Customisable paper checklist mounted to the yokes and paper clipboard chart stored on top of the glareshield
  • Up to 15 checklists and 20 charts can be shown, and are easy customisable PNG images stored within the 146 package
  • Hidden clickspots allow you to cycle between the checklists and charts, rotate them to handle both portrait and landscape, show/hide the yoke-mounted checklist and stow/unstow the glareshield clipboard
  • Dynamic index page will list the names and page numbers for all the checklists and charts that have been added
  • ATC information (callsign, flight number and registration) can be displayed at the top of the checklists and charts

• Autopilot vertical speed can now be controlled using the ELEVATOR TRIM UP/DOWN control assignments when the autopilot and vertical speed hold mode is engaged, similar to the existing pitch hold logic
• If enabled via the EFB tablet, the cabin crew will now automatically make passenger announcements for the different stages of flight if not already manually triggered by the user
• Reworked some TMS logic so that with TMS SYNC/TGT and/or TMS  TGT modes selected, the TMS will now only return to standby mode if the hundreds (first) digit is adjusted, like the real aircraft
• Engines no longer flame-out when a flight is started on approach to a runway
• Radio altimeter limit selectors now default to a value of 200ft
• Cabin announcements are no longer enabled on the QC/QT cargo variants
• Reduced light bleed through cockpit door when door is closed
• Main menu thumbnails updated to feature MSFS SU14 lighting
• Doors are now closed and GPU is now removed automatically when using the relevant interactive checklists
