FSDG - Reunion MSFS

Roland Garros International Airport (FMEE) serves the French island of Réunion in the Indian Ocean, located between Madagascar and Mauritius. The airport sits directly on the northern coastline, with mountainous terrain rising steeply just inland, making approaches both scenic and demanding.

The main runway, extending over 3,000 m, is suitable for wide-body aircraft, but rapidly changing weather, trade winds, and occasional turbulence require careful planning. A modernized and expanded passenger terminal, opened in recent years, reflects the airport’s growing importance as an international gateway in the region. Coastal approaches offer spectacular views of volcanic landscapes and the deep blue ocean, especially during daylight operations.
